You are our hero
What makes us unique
“The greatest feeling of satisfaction comes from empowering someone else.”
In fashion, true quality begins with the label
All of our labels have a positive message designed specifically for you.
The current message is “You Are Amazing.“
We use soft to the touch tagless labels on all of our garments to give you a more comfortable feel on your skin.
we use packaging that is decorated by the children of our community as means of self expression
Graffiti art inspired packaging
“For many dark folx, art is a home place; art is where they find a voice that feels authentic and rooted in participatory democracy.”
– Bettina Love
Helping others also means helping to save our planet. All of our packaging materials are made from 100% recyclable materials.
We believe in equality for all regardless of age, color, culture or gender.
Our meaningful apparel is created and designed by a Special needs Teacher from our own community.
We believe in the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”. So, in addition to family members, it is important for our youth to have an inspirational role mode who is accessible.
We strive to empower our communities by the following:
~ Creating meaningful apparel with unique designs.
~ Employing individuals with special needs.
~ Employing members of our communities to be our fashion and print models. If a customer wears our clothing and tags us on social media and we use their picture in an ad campaign, the customer will be compensated.
~ Facilitating an inspirational blog (Iron sharpening Iron) coupled with motivational speaking engagements for our community on various real world topics and challenges.
We are a give back organization.
We strive to empower our brothers and sisters, and encourage others to do the same. We support a multitude of initiatives beyond raising awareness, and financially backing organizations that help those in need. From single mother non-profit organizations, to special needs organizations, Jean-Jacques is committed to ongoing support of charitable initiatives.
We believe in building our community by reinvesting some of our money, in our community.
